About the Authors

Daniel Barnett, Barrister
Daniel Barnett is a leading employment barrister with over 25 years’ experience. He is a member of the BAILII advisory board, and a past chair of the Employment Lawyers’ Association’s publishing committee and electronic services working party. He is the author or co-author of 12 books and one of the leading speakers on the national and international legal lecture circuit. Daniel presents the LBC Legal Hour, a national radio show in which he answers caller’s legal questions.

Jeremy Scott Joynt
Jeremy is a barrister at Outer Temple Chambers specialising in employment law, commercial litigation and regulatory matters. He regularly advises on employment claims (particularly those involving whistleblowing and discrimination) and investigations. Before coming to the Bar, he ran anti-corruption programmes and investigations for two international banks, and worked in intelligence at the Financial Services Authority. He started his working life as a reporter, spending six years covering economics, business and financial crime for BBC News.
Nicholas Bidnell-Edwards
Nicholas was called to the Bar in 2012. He specialises in employment law, and commercial work with an employment focus. In addition to advisory work, Nicholas appears frequently in Employment Tribunals, County Courts and in the Employment Appeal Tribunal. He has acted in the Court of Appeal, and has drafted successful pleadings, and Notices of Appeal.
Stefan Liberadzki
Stefan Liberadzki is a barrister at 42 Bedford Row Chambers. In his employment practice he represents both employees and employers, including some of the largest national companies in retail, transport and logistics. He has a particular interest in the developing law on worker status. Before coming to the Bar he worked for the Law Commission and as a visiting tutor at Kings College London.
